Just wanted to let everyone know what's going on... We've got two sick kids here. Alexa has a stomach bug since last night. It's a virus, but she's already doing better now. Kyla had a fever last night which spiked and went to 104..we took her to the doctor this morning. Good thing we did b/c we got sent for her to get a chest x-ray. Then, back to the doctor's office to be told she had pneumonia. They had to give her two shots in each leg right there, and she gets taken back tomorrow for two more..ugh, not fun. Say a prayer for her that those antibiotics will get in there and knock that stuff out. We don't need another hospital stay.

Haircuts

Well, Alexa finally wanted her hair cut. Her hair is so fine, that it tangles so easily and it is a job every morning to brush her hair. So, we both agreed to get it cut, and it's layered and looks very cute and stylish. She loves it! She also got her retainer today. For those that don't know, the retainer is going to help widen her mouth so that when the other teeth come in, they will come in straight and plenty of room. She will wear these top/bottom all of the time, only to take out when she cleans her teeth. After about 9 months, she'll get partial braces on her front teeth, and hopefully after that, her teeth will be straight and she won't need braces. Apparently, this is what they (dentist) try to do now instead of pulling a bunch of teeth like they did mine. So, she's getting used to them now, and talks funny, which she thinks is funny, ha ha.
Tyler also got a little different haircut though it's hard to tell in this photo. It's very short around back and sides, and a little bit longer on top and has a few spikes. He's just getting enough hair now to do something with it, lol. They are both ready for school!
