Kyla's manipulating

Yeah, Kyla has us wrapped around her little finger, lol. We've been putting her down to sleep at night now instead of rocking her to sleep. She knows when her bedtime is coming up, and this night, she knew I was about ready to lay her down, so she got really quiet, and cuddled up next to me and was being so sweet. I just couldn't lay her down yet (enjoying the quiet still moment) and before I knew it, she was asleep. That was what she wanted all along!

Day at the park with Tyler and Kyla

While Alexa was in school today, I took Tyler and Kyla to the park to play. They had so much fun running through the water, swinging, playing in sand, and going down the slides. Kyla loves the water, as well as Tyler. Take a look....

Most of you know how Kyla loves her shoes, well, she loves to find her shoes, and over time, when she'd find them, we'd say, "there it is." She has now learned that phrase and says it all the time. So, I got out the camera and tried to capture her saying it. She says it a couple of times, but you have to listen to get it.

Someone didn't get a nap today...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALEXA!!!!!!

Today is Alexa's birthday, and she is sooo excited. She did not want to go to school today. It was hard to get her out of the car this morning. Here she is before school today.

Cowgirl Kyla

Kyla loves dressing in hats, shoes, necklaces, sunglasses, anything you put on her. She's going to be just like Alexa when it comes to dressing up. Here she is with Tyler's cowboy hat.

Ready for school!!

Here are a few pictures of Alexa and Tyler this morning before school. I was so nervous for Tyler, but he did great!! He was reluctant when we got there, and held tightly to my hand, but the teacher took him and I disappeared out of sight, and he went straight to playing! No crying!
Alexa is posing with her new princess lunchbox and princess backpack that we got her for her birthday. We let her open them early so she could use them for school. She has to wait until Wednesday for the rest, lol.
