Alexa's Christmas program

Tuesday night was Alexa's Christmas program with her school. She did so great up there on stage. We were so proud of her. Here are a few pictures and a couple of videos of the program.

Tyler and Aiden

This is Tyler and his very best friend, Aiden. They are in class together and have so much fun together

Batman and Batwoman!

Alexa, over the years, has made Tyler listen and watch the Disney princesses, so it was about time that he converted her to his "boy" stuff-Batman and Batwoman!

Kyla gets her ears pierced!

Finally, at 19 months, we decided to get Kyla's ears pierced. She didn't like it too much, but seems to be over it and likes her new earrings. They are her birthstone for April-diamonds. Here are a few pics with her earrings.

Alexa in the Christmas parade

Saturday was the Christmas parade here in DeFuniak Springs. Alexa got to be in it with her Girl Scouts. She was so proud and excited. Here are some pictures with the kids getting candy. Aunt Casey and Clarissa, Tiara, and Jazzy came out to see Alexa as well. Alexa's pics are at the bottom. Half of them walked and the other half rode in the truck, then about half-way, they switched. Alexa got to throw us necklaces and candy.

Kids and Santa

The kids were so excited to take their pic with Santa, except Kyla. She started shaking her head no as soon as she saw him. The kids told Santa what they wanted, and got to chat with him a bit. They are so excited about Christmas.

Kyla and Jazzy

Kyla's little friend Jasmine came over and stayed with us for a bit. The two had fun playing with each other. So cute!

kids

Just a few pics of the kids. Kyla is watching t.v. in the first couple. The kids were playing with Aunt Casey in the others, and Tyler put this newborn cap on his head. He looked quite funny.

Adding the star

We didn't get our Christmas decorations out of storage this year, so we used what Mrs. Given had. The kids have had to "create" a lot of the ornaments on the tree this year. (those are the best kind anyway) We didn't have anything for the top of the tree, so Alexa made the star. Here is her putting it at the top of the tree. Ignore Colin's facial expression, lol.
