Our visit to Chatom, AL

We first stopped to visit my granny Sasser. It has been awhile since we've seen her, and I really treasured the time we spent there with her. She means the world to me.

Next, we headed over to my Uncle Marty's church in Chatom. Church was just getting out, so we ate lunch with them there and hung out. The kids had so much fun playing with everyone.

Alexa loves her Uncle Marty, as you can see, she is with him everywhere he goes.

Kyla really took to my cousin Jenny. She played and watched veggie tales with her.

Our special moment

Today was a very special day for Colin and I. We were rebaptized together at the same time. It was a very special moment for our family and our relationship with each other and God. God has helped us get through a lot of tough times, especially the past year, but we are now closer with each other and with God more than ever. The kids were really excited to see us up there as you will see from the video. I didn't realize they would come all the way up there, but they wanted to be right there front and center.
To add, Alexa also got in front of the whole church and spoke about Colin. She said Happy Father's Day and that she loved him, and thanked him for several things. She was so brave and did a great job. It meant a lot to Colin.
